Dear Valued Partner,

Please be informed that MH Markets will implement updated leverage adjustment rules, effective 7 September 2026, as part of our ongoing risk management measures during periods of increased market volatility.

Please familiarize yourself with the following changes and ensure that clients are informed accordingly.

Leverage Adjustment

During each of the applicable periods outlined below, maximum leverage will be temporarily capped at 1:500.

  • Weekend Closures

Period: From 1 hour before the market closes until 1 hour after market reopening.

  • Daily Trading Breaks

Period: From 1 hour before the market closes until 1 hour after market reopening.

  • Event-Based Margining (EBM) During News Releases

Period: From 15 minutes before until 10 minutes after a high-impact news release.

Applicable Events: EBM will primarily apply to the following major high-impact economic events:

  • Consumer Price Index (CPI)
  • Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP)
  • Federal Reserve Interest Rate Decisions

Scope of Application

These rules apply to both Floating and Fixed Leverage accounts. Once the applicable adjustment period ends, leverage will automatically return to its previous level.

Important Notes

The duration of leverage adjustments may be extended depending on prevailing market conditions.

MH Markets reserves the right to adjust margin requirements and leverage at any time in response to market volatility, liquidity conditions, or other risk factors. Such changes may be implemented without prior notice.

Best Regards,

MH Markets
